Joe Rogan has no single signature watch, but the one most often reported on his wrist is the Panerai Luminor Submersible, usually identified as the 44 mm PAM00024. He has also been photographed in Rolex dive watches, a G-Shock Mudmaster and a Breitling SuperOcean Heritage, and the “Joe Rogan Grand Seiko” idea comes from a podcast conversation rather than a confirmed watch.
Quick answer Rogan is most often reported in a Panerai Luminor Submersible (PAM00024), a Rolex Deepsea, a Rolex Submariner and a G-Shock Mudmaster GG-1000. He talked Grand Seiko with guest Matt Farah, and one outlet says he has been seen in Seiko and Grand Seiko, but no model has been confirmed. Most identifications come from photos and are hedged.
The Most-Reported Watch: Panerai Luminor Submersible PAM00024
Boss Hunting’s 2021 roundup says Rogan has been seen wearing the Luminor Submersible PAM024 on multiple occasions, often while interviewing UFC fighters. Other lists, including Oracle of Time and Wrist Enthusiast, also name Panerai Submersible and Radiomir models, though none gives a verified reference from Rogan himself.
The PAM00024 is a 44 mm cushion-case steel diver with the Panerai OP III automatic movement, a sapphire crystal and a 300 m rating. It was discontinued after a long run, and its original retail price was about $7,700.

Because the PAM00024 has been discontinued, buyers either look for pre-owned examples or compare the current Luminor Submersible line on Panerai’s website, where sizes, movements and prices differ from the model reported on Rogan.
Rolex Watches Reported on Rogan
Rolex shows up in nearly every list. Boss Hunting says a Rolex Deepsea “D-Blue” is likely, based on his UFC interview appearances, but calls it unconfirmed, and Oracle of Time reports sightings of a black-dial Submariner (ref. 124060), a Sea-Dweller Deepsea, a Yacht-Master 40 and a Cosmograph Daytona.

For context, the Deepsea is a 44 mm steel diver rated to 3,900 m, far beyond anything a podcast studio needs. Wrist Enthusiast adds a Yacht-Master ref. 16622 and a white gold Daytona ref. 116509, again from photographs. All of these are “has been seen” or “appears to be” identifications, so treat them as probable rather than proven.
If you like the Deepsea, our Stephen Curry article covers a better-documented one.
Joe Rogan and Grand Seiko
The “Joe Rogan Grand Seiko” search traces mainly to one podcast. In a Joe Rogan Experience episode with car journalist and watch collector Matt Farah, they spent roughly 18 minutes on watches, according to Time+Tide, and, while talking about Grand Seikos, they watched a Time+Tide video about the Grand Seiko Spring Drive SBGA211 “Snowflake.”

Boss Hunting also says he has been seen wearing Seiko and Grand Seiko, models unspecified. We found no photograph or statement that confirms a particular Grand Seiko on Rogan’s wrist, so we do not list one. If the Snowflake interests you, it is a Spring Drive with a textured white dial and is widely regarded as one of Grand Seiko’s most recognizable designs.
For reference, the Snowflake SBGA211 has a 41 mm by 12.5 mm high-intensity titanium case and bracelet, the 9R65 Spring Drive movement with a 72-hour power reserve and 100 m of water resistance. Oracle of Time’s review cites a UK retail price of £5,400. That is the sort of watch the conversation was about, even if it is not proof of what Rogan owns.
G-Shock, Breitling, Omega and Other Reported Watches
Rogan’s wrist is not all luxury. Boss Hunting says a G-Shock Mudmaster GG-1000-1A3 was shown in episode #1102 and calls it his “tool watch,” and Oracle of Time reports a Breitling SuperOcean Heritage 46 (ref. AB2020161C1S1). Boss Hunting adds that the Breitling was reportedly a gift from comedian Russell Peters, though Rogan has never confirmed that.
Omega is also connected to him. In January 2021, on episode #1600, Rogan gave podcast guest Lex Fridman an Omega Speedmaster Moonphase Co-Axial Master Chronometer, a model released in 2016. Oracle of Time also reports sightings of a Speedmaster Moonwatch (ref. 3570.50.00), and Boss Hunting notes a forum sighting of a black ceramic Seamaster Diver 300M.

Affordable Alternatives to Rogan’s Watches
If you want the Panerai look without the price, our Panerai homage guide lists affordable Luminor and Radiomir-style watches. The Casio G-Shock Mudmaster GG-1000 is a real tool watch at a small fraction of any Rolex’s price, and Seiko’s Prospex 200 m divers offer solid dive-watch value at a lower budget.
The pattern across all of these is durability and legibility rather than dress-watch polish, which is why a reasonably priced dive watch or G-Shock makes sense as a stand-in. For more picks across prices, see our best dive watches guide.
What We Can and Cannot Confirm
Nearly every source on Rogan’s watches relies on photos or screenshots, and most use hedges like “appears to be.” Rogan has not published a collection list, and we found no watch-brand ambassador deal, sponsorship or paid partnership in the reporting we reviewed.
We also found no reliable source tying Rogan to Hublot or Audemars Piguet, despite those brands appearing in some collection lists. The safest summary is that he likes rugged dive and tool watches, with Panerai, Rolex and G-Shock the most frequent names.
Where Rogan’s watch talk can be checked on tape, it is mostly on his own show: the Matt Farah conversation about Grand Seiko, episode #1102 where the G-Shock Mudmaster appeared, and episode #1600 with the Speedmaster gift to Lex Fridman. Those episodes are better evidence than any photo-based list, and they suggest a watch enthusiast who enjoys the topic but does not publish a collection list.
