Rory McIlroy wears Omega. When he won the 2026 Masters he wore an Omega De Ville Tourbillon in Sedna gold, a hand-wound 43 mm watch that is reported to cost about $237,000, and he has been an Omega ambassador since 2013.
Quick answer McIlroy’s current watch partner is Omega, and nothing we found as of 1 November 2026 suggests that has changed. His 2026 Masters watch was the De Ville Tourbillon, bought for himself in 2019; a year earlier, for his 2025 Masters win, he wore an Omega Speedmaster Silver Snoopy Award. Before Omega, he was linked to Audemars Piguet until 2013.
Rory McIlroy’s Current Watch: The Omega De Ville Tourbillon
McIlroy celebrated his back-to-back Masters win in April 2026 wearing the Omega De Ville Tourbillon Co-Axial Master Chronometer. Gear Patrol describes a 43 mm case in 18K Sedna gold with Canopus gold details, powered by the hand-wound Calibre 2640, and says it is not sold off the shelf: buyers join a waiting list through an Omega boutique.
The same coverage says McIlroy reportedly bought the watch himself after winning his second FedEx Cup in 2019. That detail matters, because it is a watch he chose, not simply a sponsor’s loan. Coverage is not unanimous on the exact model name, though. A few outlets call it the older De Ville Central Tourbillon, a 38.7 mm red-gold watch that Omega no longer makes. The $237,000 price quoted by both Gear Patrol and duPont Registry matches the current 43 mm Sedna gold version, so that is the identification used here.

The Masters Watches: 2025 and 2026
For his first Masters win in April 2025, McIlroy wore an Omega Speedmaster Professional Silver Snoopy Award 50th Anniversary Edition, a space-themed chronograph with no obvious golf link. Gear Patrol reports he had recently bought it, said he was still in the honeymoon phase with it, and pointed out that it matched his blue shirt. Omega launched the model in 2020 and Gear Patrol lists it at $10,600.
A year later he swapped it for the tourbillon, which duPont Registry called a subtle switch. If you want a watch with a McIlroy connection that you can actually buy, the Speedmaster Moonwatch family is the closest cousin and sits far below the tourbillon on price. Our guide to the Speedmaster and Neil Armstrong explains the model’s moon-landing history.
The Omega Partnership Explained
McIlroy signed with Omega in April 2013 after an earlier spell with Audemars Piguet, whose Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore models he wore around 2011 and 2012. Since then he has become one of Omega’s most visible golf faces and has described the brand as “a sponsor of mine.” Reports in 2026 still call him an Omega ambassador of more than a decade.

This is the status as of today: Omega, current. We found no announcement of a new deal with another watchmaker, and no report that he has left Omega. If a switch happened it has not appeared in the coverage we could find, so treat it as Omega until a brand says otherwise. Sponsorships can change quickly, so we date each claim below.
Audemars Piguet (to 2013)
Before Omega, McIlroy wore the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph (reference 26300) and the Royal Oak Offshore Grand Prix Chronograph (reference 26290RO.OO.A001VE.01), according to WristCheck. He left AP in 2013. If you like his early look, our Audemars Piguet hub covers the brand.
Other Watches Rory McIlroy Has Worn
McIlroy told Jewellery Business in 2021 that he owns roughly ten watches and usually takes about four to a tournament. Reported pieces, with the year we can place them, include:

- Speedmaster ’57 “Rory McIlroy” Special Edition (2019): a yellow-gold 41.5 mm watch Omega gave him for his 30th birthday, reported at about $34,600 at launch and sold out. He said it was the watch he wore most often in 2021.
- Seamaster Aqua Terra Ultra Light (2019): a titanium time-only watch he helped develop, reportedly priced around $48,600 (WristCheck) or about 40,000 pounds (GolfMagic). Jewellery Business says it weighs 5.5 grams.
- Seamaster Aqua Terra Golf Edition (2015 and 2017): a 150 m model made for golfers, with a custom 2017 version featuring a silver dial and orange accents (Crown & Caliber).
- Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M (2021): an 18K red gold, 45.5 mm model first seen at the Wells Fargo Championship.
- Seamaster Diver 300M (2022): a green-dial Co-Axial Master Chronometer worn after the RBC Canadian Open and CJ Cup.
McIlroy’s wrist game is not only about price. Many of these are sports-focused Seamasters that survive a golf swing, which is part of why Omega’s golf partnerships work so well. For another golfer with a signature brand, see What Watch Does Tiger Woods Wear?.
Get the Look for Less
You cannot easily replicate a six-figure tourbillon, but you can copy the spirit of his collection. The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional is the entry point to his Speedmaster world, and the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M is the everyday sports watch he has also been seen in. Neither is cheap, but both are real, current Omega models that stay within reach of a serious watch budget.
