Tony Stark’s watches change from film to film. In Iron Man (2008) he wears several Bvlgari (Bulgari) Diagono watches, in Iron Man 2 (2010) and Iron Man 3 (2013) he wears Jaeger-LeCoultre pieces such as the AMVOX3 Tourbillon GMT and AMVOX5 World Chronograph, and in later films he moves to independent brands including Urwerk (the UR-110 RG in Spider-Man: Homecoming) and Devon (the Tread 1 in Infinity War).
Quick answerThere is no single Tony Stark watch. The most famous are the Bvlgari Diagono models from the first Iron Man, the Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX series from the sequels, and the rose-gold Urwerk UR-110 RG from Spider-Man: Homecoming. If you want the original look affordably, a black-dial chronograph with a leather strap is the closest match.

Iron Man (2008): the Bvlgari Diagono era
The first film is the answer behind most “Tony Stark watch” searches. aBlogtoWatch’s analysis found that Tony wears mainly Bvlgari. After his escape he wears a black-faced Bvlgari Diagono Sport with a black leather strap, paired with a tuxedo; the film version has gold screws in the lugs that the retail model lacks. In his workshop he wears a gold Bvlgari Bvlgari with retrograde chronograph indicators (the author could only find a close match). The site also lists a Bvlgari Diagono Chronograph and a Diagono calendar with retrograde day and date hands and a moonphase indicator on a brown strap. The opening scene watch, first thought to be a Hublot Big Bang, was later reported as a Bvlgari lookalike with similar styling.
Two points are worth keeping in mind. First, a Diagono in the film is a sporty luxury watch, the kind a billionaire playboy would own. Second, Robert Downey Jr. is noted for wearing his watches on his right wrist.
Iron Man 2 and 3: Jaeger-LeCoultre
Jaeger-LeCoultre was a sponsor of Iron Man 2, and the brand is prominent. WatchTime lists three JLC watches in the film: the AMVOX3 Tourbillon (in platinum), the Master Grand Tourbillon 1833 and the Reverso Grande 985. The AMVOX series is tied to Aston Martin, a nod to the sports-car flavor of the character. Luxury Bazaar describes the AMVOX3 Tourbillon GMT as a 44 mm watch with ceramic in its construction, a tourbillon, a date hand and a second time zone, on a racing-style perforated leather strap. For the third film it documents the AMVOX5 World Chronograph in titanium and ceramic, 44 mm, with world time and a chronograph.

The independents: Urwerk and Devon
From Spider-Man: Homecoming onward Tony’s watches get more experimental. Calibre Magazine reports that Urwerk first declined the studio’s request but later supplied a new rose-gold UR-110 after learning Downey had asked for it personally. The watch used in the film sold at a Phillips, Bacs and Russo auction on May 12, 2018 for 150,000 Swiss francs, with the proceeds supporting children’s literacy in Haiti. In Infinity War, a Devon Tread 1 appears briefly in a scene with Pepper Potts. Time+Tide and Quill and Pad both report it as borrowed. Quill and Pad also notes that Downey wore a Greubel Forsey GMT in red gold to the Infinity War premiere, which is off screen.
What about Richard Mille and Girard-Perregaux?
Some lists attribute Richard Mille and Girard-Perregaux watches to Tony Stark. We checked the main watch sources and could not find a reliable identification of either brand on screen in the MCU, so we are not listing them. If you have a credible source with a film and scene, send it our way and we will update this page.
