James Bond wears the Seiko G757 watch in Octopussy. James Bond became and instant hit on the big screen after Sean Connery’s portrayal in Ian Flemming’s “Dr. No”. Since then, many actors have taken up the mantle of the gentleman spy, including Roger Moore. Moore starred as a stylish, sharp, and dashing version of James Bond in 1983’s Octopussy. In the movie, Moore’s Bond is given a Seiko G757 by “Q”.
The Seiko that James is given in the movie looks exactly like the one Seiko actually made with one small exception: James’ watch doubled as an impossibly small TV. The real Seiko G757 is a classy watch reminiscent of early 80s super cars, like the Lamborghini. Stainless steel band with a mineral glass face. The watch is a classic piece that is no longer made by Seiko, and you’ll be hard pressed to find them in good condition.
The watch itself is water resistant to 100 meters (about 330 feet) which, they claim, is suitable for swimming and snorkling, but I would caution against that. If price is an indicator of quality – and with watches it usually is – a $24.99 watch is likely not to be tested for its durability. This watch is probably fine to shower with, and maybe light swimming, but I wouldn’t take it into the ocean or submerge it in water for any lengthy period.
Another consideration for this watch is its quartz movement. A Quartz movement watch will always be more accurate than a self-winding watch, but will require you to change the battery out whenever it dies. They claim the watch as a 10 year battery, and while I have no experience with this particular watch or battery, I would like to see such a thing for myself.
All in all, the A1200WHD by Casio is a good substitute for the Seiko G757 as long as you aren’t expecting it to have a built in TV.
James Bond wears the Omega Seamaster 300 in Spectre. James Bond has been an iconic action hero ever since Sean Connery portrayed him on the big screen. These days the role is played in a very serious and gritty fashion by the actor Daniel Craig. The newest release, Spectre, was a box office hit in 2015 and helped tie the new series of James Bond movies into the continuity of the older franchise.
In Spectre, James sports a sharp Omega Seamaster 300. The 300 is a beautiful Swiss watch with stainless steel casing and a stainless steel band. The watch has a scratch and reflection resistant sapphire crystal face and is waterproof up to 300 meters (about 1,000 feet), hence the name. It is a self-winding automatic watch and carries high reviews, true to the Omega brand.

Grant is currently very active on social media as a mentor to millions of people all across the world who are looking to find freedom and fulfillment in their lives and careers. Grant is currently promoting his mentor program The Millionaire Playbook. The Bvlgari Diagono Chronograph is a swiss watch that has a stainless steel case and rubber strap and is perfect for the active gentleman. It’s water resistant to 100 meters, and has a scratch resistant sapphire face.
James Bond wears the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean watch in Skyfall. James Bond has been one of the biggest action stars of all time since Sean Connery debuted as the spy in an adaptation of Ian Flemming’s “Dr. No”. Actor Daniel Craig took up the mantle of James Bond with his first outing Casino Royale, a movie that explored James’s beginnings in a way no other movie had before. In the movie, James is given the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean by his trusty tech guy “Q”. The Planet Ocean is a beautiful, self-winding analog watch that displays both date and time. It runs on the Omega 8500 Engine and has a scratch and reflection resistant sapphire. Despite being a “James Bond Watch”, the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean is reasonably priced for its brand and availability. Omega did release a limited edition “Skyfall” version of the watch, whose face has ‘007’ etchings, though it is not the watch James wears in the movie and is a collector’s item.
Donald Trump wears Trump Signature Edition Men’s Watches. Donald Trump is a former American businessman, reality TV star, and the current President of the United States of America. Trump was born June 14, 1946 in New York. He rose to prominence in the 1970s and 1980s after taking over for his father, Fred Trump, as one of New York’s wealthiest real estate moguls. This fame and popularity has allowed Trump to sell his name as a brand on various different items, including watches.
Trump is very loyal to his own brand, and therefore wears his own brand watches, ties, cuff links, et cetera. Unfortunately the Trump Signature Watch is no longer for sale. The only place you can find one is used on an auction site like iCollector or eBay – though good luck even there finding one. The watches themselves were very briefly sold and are very rare. The only information we are able to find on the watches suggest that most, but not all, come with a genuine leather band and stainless steel casing.
Barack Obama wears a black Jorg Gray Chronograph 6500 watch.
Barack Obama served as the 44th president of the United States of America, and was the first African American president the country has elected.
Obama has worn the Jorg Gray since 2007, when it was gifted to him by three of his Secret Service staff. In honor of his historic achievement, Jorg Gray created a special, one of a kind edition of the 6500 with buffalo leather straps and a commemorative back-plate for the president to wear.
Unless you have access to the Secret Service shop (wouldn’t that be awesome), the closest you can get is the Men’s JG6500 Analog, which is an exact replica of the president’s watch, down to the leather and stitching, but without any of the secret service notations. The following image shows the difference on the dials between the two models:
Most pictures of Barack Obama since he took office show him wearing the JG6500 Analog. Although this isn’t the only type of watch the President has been seen wearing:
